I applied for a dev account under the account I want to tweet from, waited 3 weeks for approval, and it was denied w/o the possibility of appeal. They do not tell you the reason but it was hinted they only want you to have one, as, they stated that one account can handle projects for all of your different websites. Which seems true since I created logins for each of my XFs.I don't believe this is possible. The API provides no way of targeting tweets to specific accounts. You would need to setup a new app for your other ac
The requirement is 7.2, 7.4 is recommendedIs the PHP7.4 requirement likely to break anything if not met? I think we're on 7.3 still and just noticed this update bumped the requirement.
I don't see how this is actually possible, like I said the API does not provide a way to target tweets to a specific account. I have no idea how this would be done, as I don't need multi site support and this add-on was released as a "I made this for me but maybe someone else can use it too" type of dealAnyway, I hope you can look into it. I'd really like this to work for my second XF it's actually my most busy. Currently, no way to do this. Thanks!
See the post directly above yoursIs there a way to set which twitter account it posts to? Or does it absolutely HAVE to be the same developer account?
I have my personal twitter account as my dev account, but not the account for my site (which is where i want it to post to) please advise.
Not possible, this is from Twitter and why mine was denied:You would need to setup a new app for your other account.
Update highlights
This version updates the minimum PHP version requirement to 7.3.
Please note that 7.3 was always required, I just failed to realise this when updating the Twitter posting API code.
The next version number bump will likely be 7.4, as the update that enables PHP 8.1 support will also drop support for 7.3. It is always recommended you keep your PHP installation up to date.

Did you get yours working? I have the same issue, I appear to have it all setup as instructed but no tweets are showingOkay so i got the dev account and i Believe I have it all set up, I posted a thread but it didn't tweet? What am I doing wrong? better documentation setting this up would be ideal.
Thanks for the reply, I have rechecked the settings so will give it another try. ThanksYes I did. I believe I had a setting on twitter's end set wrong, upon changing it, it started to work. See it in action here.
Still no joy, so I've added the Consumer Key and Secret (API Key and Secret I assume), also the Access token and secret, ticked "Post new threads in this forum to Twitter" in the relevant forum, is that it or have I missed something?Yes I did.
