Database error after moving to a new server

I installed xenforo for the first time a few days ago on a new domain which was hosted on a shared server and everything went fine.

Today I moved this domain to a new VPS and everything else seems to be fine just the xenforo is giving me this :

"An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later. "

I would appreciate if some one could point me in the right direction.

hehe Atleast we got it figured out for you quickly. Enjoy another beer while you recompile with MySQLi

My forum if working fine on the new VPS. It was just the missing MySQLi.
