Hi Bassman, just purchased this and installed it on a clean new XF install on my local PC using xampps and come up with error after install:
Server Error
Mysqli statement execute error : Row size too large (> 8126). Changing some columns to TEXT or BLOB or using ROW_FORMAT=DYNAMIC or ROW_FORMAT=COMPRESSED may help. In current row format, BLOB prefix of 768 bytes is stored inline.

Hi ibaker,

this error is not from this add-on, because Sticky Navigation does not add any extra files (except for Font Awesome) nor change the database.

But not sure what it could be. Try installing it on a clean XF on live server if you can.

@BassMan At first i would like to thank you for that great addon, i have some little suggestions for the future.

In the templates your wrote e.g.

Btw, I've checked your forum and you need to adjust the Sticky activation for guests for smooth scrolling, because your header is higher than default (I think you need to set it at around 65 for your forum).

@BassMan great update, but one issue here :)

Simply upgrading and without touching nothing, the navigation bar now scroll up (isn't sticky anymore).
The moderator bar work as expected.

Do you have some direction to solve this?

Hi BassMan, I tried installing it again on a clean install of XF on my local PC using xampps and it still fails. So it looks like it will not install on a local PC for testing in my case.

I also have my own dedicated live web server that runs Percons and I have a secondary XF site (i.e. not my main XF site) that has very little users and has been running for some time so I thought I would try it on there before I tried on my main site. It installed ok without any problems however it wouldn't work and through process of elimination found that it clashes with the Back To Top addon https://xenforo.com/community/resources/back-to-the-top.525/

Once I turned that addon off all was ok and ok with Percona

No idea why it will not work on a local PC with xampps

Yes, someone already report it that it will not work with that add-on. I suggests using Go to top in sticky navigaiton or try other go to top add-on.

Sorry, I don't know why too. I'm not testing add-ons on local with xampp.

But glad you found it works fine :)
 
I do all my development and testing on my local PC, like many others do, and not in a live environment so this will be a big issue for me as I will not be able to expose and issues with addonsor development except in a live environment when it is to late. Is it possible that you could have a look at this yourself and see where the issue is and if it is a small fix or not?
