XF 1.2 Custom titles

I've started using User Group Promotions as a way of rewarding more active members with some extra features. One of these is the ability to add their own custom title.

What I've noticed is that members who have this capability now but later have it removed still have the custom title displayed (though of course they cannot change it). What I would like to happen is when they lose the ability to change their custom title, they revert back to the default user title ladder that I am using without me having to manually remove their custom title.

Is there any way to do this?

There is no automatic revert, it needs to be done manually.

This could be done very easily with Batch User Update, but sadly there isn't an option to remove a custom title. You can set a new one. But if you leave the field blank then it isn't changed.

Should be quite trivial to do as an add-on, though.
