Hm, I installed this, but I do not see link in navigation bar.
Is it maybe conflicted with some other mod?

Edited: yep, it is conflict with @Chris D Unread Post Count MOD

Is there anyway I can limit which forums Recent Posts are displayed from?

I have a number of forums that are only RSS Feeds, and I don't want those to be displayed in Recent Posts?

Should I have asked this in the questions forum?

How did you gt around it? I like the unread counter so don't want to bin it

Edit - Chris D's plug 1.2+ sorts it out so update it if you're using an old one

Does not work on XF 1.5.0, it will install but doesn't show on the nav on new updates and on forums where it was preciously installed and working, it doesn't show on the nav bar anymore

Brogan submitted a new resource:

CTA Recent Posts - Add a Recent Posts link to the navigation bar

Read more about this resource...

Finally I found it
I was searching for this from long time. Thanks for sharing Brogan

There is small bug:
upload_2015-8-31_22-51-27.webp

If I click on (Recent posts) I will see the correct recent posts results but the tab is marked on (New post)
Is it possible to add new tab for recent posts? Just to make it clear for the users

The core link behaves the same - there is no recent posts tab.
Yes, either I click on (recent posts) or (new posts) the same tab will be marked
Is it possible to add separate tab for (recent posts) or it needs a lot of modification? Like the "navlinks" we have (recent posts + new posts) separate.

It's not something which can be achieved with this resource which is a simple template modification.

This template edit doesn't change how recent posts works - it simply adds a link to the navigation bar.

The new posts in the sidebar is unrelated to this template edit, which simply adds a link to the navigation bar.

hi brogan.

I want to set this 'find-new/posts&recent=1' as index route, but index shows error.

any tips? thanks
