Create Users with Past Timestamp

Hi Everyone,

I am writing a script to import users . I would like to create users with register_date as from the past timestamp.I am using https://github.com/Contex/XenAPI/ for creating users. Can any one guide me on how i can achieve this ?

Also, would like to know how i can stop the alerts to users about the new posts and threads.
