Create new thread search box

I can't believe that there is no search box when you want to create a thread. You get a huge list! What is this?

It's a list of possible locations for your thread.
You need to choose, in what forum the thread will be created.

It's because you are located out of a single forum. It will change as soon as you enter

I always remove the New Post / Thread buttons from the forum view to avoid this.
