Convert Post to new thread

Hi,

I was wondering whether it is even possible to convert a post to a new thread leaving a redirect in the original thread (similar way moving a thread to another category)? Ofcourse I have no idea of technical aspect, just asking as I need the necessity of that frequently.

You can move a post to make it a thread but without a redirect to the original thread.

Oh, so I just realized that I can do that with "Move Posts" option which I thought for moving post to an existing thread.

Now that brings the other question then, is it possible to move a post to another existing thread (not creating a new one)?

Yes.
Move Posts > Existing thread

Thanks .. I didn't have this option in 1.2.2, that's why was confused. Just checked that in Demo.
