XF 2.2 Quote to new thread?

Is it possible to quote a post (or partial post) in a new thread?

For example:

I have a thread that talks about "A". People post, talking about "A". But someone, while talking about "A", makes an off-comment about "B". Someone wants to reply about "B", but doesn't want to derail the thread.

Is it possible somewhere to highlight that part of the post that talks about "B" and automatically carry it over to start a new thread? Currently, the only solution is to highlight it, copy, click New Thread, and paste it in there. Is there an automated way to do that?

Click the + Quote link on the post, then insert the quote in your new post.

I found the option to enable + Quote.

But that wasn't quite what I was asking.

I was looking for a way to "quote to new thread" as it were. No copy/paste involved.

That's the correct option. Press the button and go to the NEW thread, then in the editor there is a button to inert quotes, and it will be there when you click it.
