This add-on adds conversation search, but to disable it you need Conversation Essentials which has a built in option.

This is expected as the search by "messages" is actually finding all content by a user (including threads!)

Only users who can see the conversation messages will see them in the results

It is just how the add-on feature set was built.

Conversation Essentials can conversation search the entire feature. Conversation message will absolutely show in general search results if the user can see that conversation message. This is by default, and the intended result.

Does this add on allow you to delete conversations?

XF2 already allows that, just leave the conversation and once everyone has left it will be deleted.

My add-on Conversation Essentials (paid) allows you to kick users from a conversation, and if you have this add-on installed and grant the "manage any conversation" it allows you to kick anyone from any conversation you are a member of.
