I assume that you will be able to turn the function on or off.

We will never be able to install any add-on which has a feature to read private conversations (even if it can be turned off). It is very important that people in our forums can trust in that. There are already several tools (report, anti-spam, etc) to deal with private messaging abuse and also to read such reported single messages. Reading the users private conversations should be left to police or other officials.

If you want to code such a feature, please do not include it in this add-on and create a seperate add-on for it.

Here's a thought.. and I'm sorry if it's been covered already. The Xenforo PM system is just good. I'm starting to get comments that people are starting conversations that they wish they had started as a thread due to the number of people and there is no way for others outside of the people invited to see or comment. We are finding that the site is losing out as a community due to this now being a way to almost have a off radar threads and that people would like to sometimes convert the existing conversations to threads open to the community.

Not sure if it would be possible to do but would be a feature we would be very interested in.

Issue - guests can see "Search Conversation" tab
As guest, I can use the "Search Conversation" tab under /search (Advanced Search). it shouldn't show me that tab when I'm guest.

Installed this addon but I can't see the 'Inbox Size Limit' bar.

If you don't have a limit then you won't see the bar. If you have a limit and you don't see it, it may be a theme issue.

Check the default style. Are you sure you have a inbox limit set though?

Found the issue, default usergroup was set wrong.

Daniel, how can I fix this in PC list? As you can see... they go over the pagination, let alone then fold under and hide when responsive. There must be a better way to do user avatars?

I'm not really sure where else you would want them honestly. I could adjust the css so it's not blocking the pagination (that wasn't intentional anyways, didn't notice myself as I don't have that enabled). As far as a "better way to do user avatars" I really don't have one, do you?

Can it be done similar to how the XF navigation works? How it simply collapses onto itself into a drop down below x width? The smaller width you make it, the more items collapse into the drop down, basically?

All of a sudden, my users do not have the ability to start a conversation....this includes me. The permissions are fine and have not changed. Many of my users are paid users, so I need to get this fixed.

What does it say when they try to start one? That they don't have permission? That the route isn't found? Anything?
