Content Blur Pro - Boost Registrations and Upgrades

Content Blur Pro - Boost Registrations and Upgrades [Paid] v2.4.5

No permission to buy ($40.00)
I created a new bare test site with only one question forum and one question thread and I have not been able to replicate the issue with the default settings. I am continuing to investigate.

You set the number of posts to be visible globally per user group. So it's not "how many are blurred", it's how many are "unblurred" (XenForo permission semantics).

I want to ask you something: How can Google bot see content that visitors can't see? So, are you sure it's harmless from an SEO perspective and indexing perspective? After all, Google bot isn't a user.

Few things to unpack here, but for the first, you should absolutely ensure you have the cloak option enabled:

Also, you should NOT have the obfuscate text option for guests without having cloak enabled (the latest versions will give you a warning/error message under this scenario).

As for GoogleBot and other search engines; they'll show up as crawlers and they won't be served obfuscated text even if that option is enabled, and they'll read through the blurred text, so no harm no foul.

There are ways with Google Search Console that you can provide Google a login to your website and designate it a "search engine" or "google" user group if you wanted; to see any hidden pages or pages buried behind paywalls or similar, but that's beyond the scope of this add-on and discussion.
