Confirming how Adsense Auto Ads should be configured

Hi guys, I make just a little bit of money from Adsense on my forum as the only means of monetization. I am wondering if I have this Adsense "Auto Ads" set up correctly.

I have it as one item in the Container Header position, here' sthe config


Obviously I have removed the pub ID for this screenshot. Should I have other ads set up? This is supposed to run the optimal number and placement of ads supposedly, including for mobile web.

I couldn't tell you why, but I haven't always had the best luck with the automatically-sized ad. When it was a new option, I used it on most placements and saw a drop in revenue.

Today, I use it at the bottom of my site, and it does make "some" money. Couldn't tell you if trying it again at the top of my site would yield better results.
