XF 2.2 Combining custom fields

We have added a few custom fields, 'First Name' and 'Last Name'

Can someone help me understand how to combine these into a 'member name' and then display that in the "Message user info elements" so it displays under the avatar

Bringing this back up, No responses.

Many of our members have chosen a username familiar to them but not easy to identify the person - it is a group that often gets together and it's hard to figure out that 33RatRod is that person over there - John Smith. With vBulletin, we were able to combine and add names in their user listing, I've figured out how to display first and last name but would like them to combine and display.

I'm studying PHP to try and tackle but it isn't a quick learn.

I can't help with combining them, but to make custom fields show in message info you do this in the custom field:



And then enable in style properties > Message

Thanks, I've been able to figure that part out, but want to customize so it does include 'First Name xxxx' on one line then 'Last Name xxxx' on separate line
