XF 1.4 Cleaning permissions problem

Hello

I have performed a clean up permissions from ACP -> Tools -> Rebuild Caches and once it finished I've noticed problems with registered users not being able to see the forum content and "you do not have permission to view this page or perform this action" message being shown.

Any idea what is wrong?

That rebuild shouldn't affect user access.

Use this option to more closely examine the permissions of a user:

Admin CP -> Users -> Analyze Permissions

For some reason it did. I've checked a random user and his permission were all set to (No) right after I runned the cleanup
( I've checked this with the Analyze Permissions)

I suppose an add-on could be involved. Run the user cache rebuild and that should rebuild permission combinations.

@Adrian D. did you find out what Addon was causing this issue? I experienced the same thing. Ive got over 100 addons so it might be hard for me to figure out which one is causing the issue.

As soon as the user confirms their registration via the link, everything gets set to No for viewing and they get the "you do not have permission to view this page or perform this action". Really strange.

@Mike is there a way to find out which addon might be causing this issue besides disabling and then activating them one at a time?

Not really without diving into code. It's likely an add-on that is doing something to the user data writer but not calling the parent/default post save behavior.
