Just... WOW! According to Amazon, they still haven't sent it. I am hopeful, but if I have to pay full ticket locally, then so be it.
Whenever ones comes across any add-ons that pose a major security risk, as claimed by the op of this thread, it's best imo to always report ithem immediately to the staff so they can look into it and take appropriate actions.Agreed, noticed myself messing with AI bots. But how would full disclosure work? An honor system?
Yup Fable 5 is a beast. Just finished my Opus 4.8 vs Fable 5 benchmarks - doing write up now and for instruction following Fable 5 > Opus 4.8I have a lot of custom setup with Claude Code, and Fable is a beast (offloading exploratory tasks to lower costs agents).

Benchmarks posted Claude Opus 4.8 vs Claude Fable 5 benchmark: prompt steering, cost, and latency resultsLooking forward to your thoughts and testing on the new Mythos release @eva2000![]()

So... latest Opus is the better call for output quality vs cost efficiency?
Performance to price ratio leans to Opus 4.8 where most folks would suffice. But Fable 5 is definitely a step up if you need and can take advantage of it.So... latest Opus is the better call for output quality vs cost efficiency?

Apart from original returner fraud and Newegg not checking the return. That wasn't stepped on... that was full on abused... with a hammer.... or pliers, maybe both! Massive yikes there! You joke, but I ordered an MSI x870 motherboard from Newegg a couple years ago, received this Gigabyte B650 board that looks like it was stepped on in the MSI box. Had to argue with them for like 4 months before giving up and just doing a chargeback because they accused me of returning the wrong item when apparently they normally just blindly accept returns and throw it back on a shelf

Glad to read it has been useful. These multi-AI consult skills have been my most used skill besides my session-metrics plugin skill and AI Image Creator skill. You should keep an eye out or subscribe to my AI Substack https://ai.georgeliu.com as a follow up to the multi-AI skills will be landing later (decided to wait for rumored DeepSeek V4.1 release coming within days) as decided to level up the skills with additional Minimax M3, Kimi K2.7, Qwen 3.7 Plus additions to my existing DeepSeek V4 Pro + ZAI GLM-5.2 + Claude + Codex GPT-5.5 after Claude Fable 5 suspension.@eva2000 George, you're a genius. Thank you. Got it working to make life easy: https://ai.georgeliu.com/p/how-to-get-a-second-ai-opinion-in so I didn't have to do it two different ways.
Ran it over https://xenforo.com/community/resources/xf2-8wr-member-utilities.6095/ as a test.... before installing it on one of my servers that has software builds. This may possibly be my new favourite tool to use. Now I just need to learn all its tricks.

Ohhhhh snap! That is going into claude. Going into GPT for DALL.E is annoying. Save, edit, trying to get the same output across images. Vomit.
Not anymore. But Fable 5 is definitely a step up if you need and can take advantage of it.
It will be back soon... they're just arguing with the US government. Not anymore.![]()
Ah yes the "TЖst answer, answers undersed thin couss to my text answer."

Yikes RTX 5080 missing GPU core and memory chips!Just got a bargain. I had two browser tabs open watching daily prices on two different 5090 models. Turned on the computer minutes ago, Amazon supplier had Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming OC 32G Graphics Card, 1 left in stock, from $6200 to $5500, ordered it with Shopback turned on, the app had another discount code, gave me another $250 off, so I basically just purchased my 5090 a grand cheaper. Super happy with that savings.
Wife had me go back to the page and refresh it, to see if it had dropped off, price went back to $6200 and then 2 in stock. Amazon marketing!
