Yet another suggestion:

could the message color chooser has a color picker instead of a list of names of colors? Visually seeing the color you are about to pick is much better than a text list of color names.

Another issue...

When "Enable avatars in messages" is enabled, the username goes to utmost right of the row when there is a long message posted.

When the above setting is disabled, the username stays on the left.

Is that the stock xenforo theme your using? Looks more like a style error to me with a none stock theme.

This works fine on my board.

Oh I should have said that that only happens for me when the All Pages mode is used, and the chat is opened from the bottom bar.

Delete all messages show up fine even with message color dropdown when "Below Forums" display mode is used, etc.

After page refresh, when you first click a username to tag a person, the cursor goes before the username, which is awkward:




However, after that it changes; click on a username again to tag the same or any other username and the cursor goes automatically after the tag, like it should:




Can you reproduce? This behavior only happens when you first load a page and click on a username to tag the first time. Following tags work flawlessly.

You can use the style property "Content Container" for that but every user can enable the "Maximized Mode" to make it bigger.

That's a long "word" that you won't see in real conversations.

As for the other issues, they have been fixed in 1.15.0.

I can see it by following the link but it shows broken for me in the first message.
I have made an experimental change to fix that problem. Now the Edit/Delete/Report/Quote icons will show up if you hover over the date, and the date will be replaced with the icons for 2.5 seconds.

I think my initial request was maybe misunderstood? So ... the initial request / issue, was that when you post/reply in a thread that is set to show in the chat box that has an image in the post, 'that image' was a broken link. I was asking if it was possible to A) Have the image show properly in the chat box and B) Have the ability to size the thumbnail image in the chat box? What you suggested by placing a 0 in the excerpt box - only disables the ability to show any excerpt at all in the chat box.

Is it possible to somehow re-design the responsive mobile view of this thing.

I mean Siropu Chat shows like 3-4 chat messages at once on the iPhone, whilst TaigaChat used to show like 15 or more.

It's not very space efficient, Siropu Chat.

Maybe the timestamp feature could be removed or made less space hungry on the mobile view?

Make the chat view on responsive mobile view like full lines, not centered, and timestamp in the front of the message, not below (where it eats extra space).

I think generally the mobile view user experience could be improved...
