Great update, Siropu!

Suggestions:

1. When you hover Chat Rooms icon it would be great to show a menu with available chat rooms
2. Chat Rooms (the one you are joined) could be listed as tabs under Chat Header for easy switching

Id like to add to the tab idea, possibly when you add a tab to also add a little X in the right corner so when you close it you log out of the chat.

Has anyone had an opportunity to test server load for large amounts of users at once? This looks extremely promising but often have 50 or so chatting at a time and would hate to slow down the forum too much.

Suggestion:
Make it so when you delete all the messages as a moderator it auto refreshes, otherwise if you dont want someone to see it, they still will if they dont manually refresh it

Bug: when banning a user it does not give the time and text saying why the user was banned.

1. You can see the available rooms by clicking the icon so I don't think this would be necessary.
2. When you join a room, it will display in the header which room you joined.

As for the bug, I don't see it. Have you used the Style Properties? What changes have you made to Content Container, Messages Container?

@Carla Birch, it's not a bug. Those placeholders get replaced with the corresponding data and that message is displayed to user when trying to post in the chat.

None, I edit through EXTRA.css, but even if I remove all code from extra, this still remains.

@BassMan, I've tested it with Chrome, Firefox and IE 11 and It's working fine in all. Try refreshing the page/cache.

• Permission for the user to choose if they want the shoutbox on the top of the page (forum list) or above the footer.
• Ban for a period like one hour and more.

Issue on my forum:

Change the editor position doesn't work.

Questions:

I have translated the add-on but I did not find the phrase for "chat" so the one which is on the navigation bar (tab) and the one which is on the Shoutbox self. I would like to change to tchat instead of chat. How can I do this please?
How to change the tab order cause it is actually the last one and I would like to move it to the third place so just beside forum ?

You can ban for a set time/date


Editor on top or below, needs a page refresh to show the edit after you have edited the setting.

@Siropu Seems there is a bad bug on mobile view, testing with my phone just, in a clean new chat window you type a message and every time the chat refreshes it adds that same chat message again time and time again, this makes the chat become unuseable on mobiles because it starts to slow down the phone and everything.

It seems to be only doing in in the mobile version of chrome (tested on an android phone) and also in safari (tested on ipad).

I've tested it, I had 40 or so users on the chat at once, I found the forum got incredibly slow to the point where users were getting 502 errors. I never fully investigated, I just removed the addon and booted back up. Went back to fast response times and happy users.

Unfortunately, I won't be testing again on a live site until I can be confident that something similar will not occur again. (I was testing in 1.7.1)

It might be something to do with my setup, but I'm not entirely sure. Others seem to be having fine performance with the addon, so it could just be me.
