Censor Status updates

Two questions:

Can the word censor be adjusted so it works on status updates?

Is there a way to edit or delete a status update without going into the database?

It already works on status updates. I just tested it. I don't see any configurable option for this.

Is there a way to edit or delete a status update without going into the database?

Status updates are posted as profile posts on the user's profile page. Use the delete option on their profile page.

My apologies. Apparently the issue is with an add-on that does not apply the censor properly. Thanks for the details Jake!
