Censor breaks/stops URL bbcode

How to replicate :

post : http://www.example1.com and the URL bbcode works fine.

Now try to add this censor in admin setting :
From : example1.com
To : example2.com

Save.

And now the URL bbcode in the post only shows http://www.example2.com , but the hotlink is gone.

But simply the censoring system is not designed to be used to rewrite URLs.

The best way to approach this would be to use server side redirects or rewrite the post content itself using our Post Content Find and Replace add-on.

I have tried to find some add ons , but i can't find any after 2.2.6.

Server side redirects can't be used if the URL that i want to replace is external URL (like 3rd party websites).

Post content find & replace may work in some case.

But when i need to dynamically replace URL (for example based on what usergroup views that content), it won't work.

If your needs can't be met by replacing the content then it will need a custom add-on to be developed.
