Hello all! :)
I use xF2.1 in a Greek language board.

I have the following issue: words with Greek characters which have "tono" (τόνος in Greek is a small line above one vowel of each word - all greek words have one τόνο).

Examples (word - canonical url) :
κάπνισμα - /index.php?tags/kpnisma/ --> should be kapnisma
ορθογραφία - /index.php?tags/orthografa/ --> should be orthografia
ευρώπη - /index.php?tags/eyrpi/ --> should be europi or eurwpi

Any idea how to fix this?

Currently, this isn't something we directly consider a bug. When we undertake Romanization, we generally consider it a "best effort" -- it may not be 100% correct for all languages. You'll see this behavior in URLs in general (if you enable Romanization across the board).

There is a request elsewhere for tags to use a different approach which doesn't rely on Romanization of arbitrary languages. That would likely prevent this issue in most cases. It's something we're aware of but no changes have been made yet.

Note that while tedious, it is possible to customize the "URL version" of tags via the control panel.
