Browser issue Cannot remove text formatting totally

Just made a message via the quick reply field and copied some formatted text there.
Highlighted the whole text and pushed "remove formatting" button.
The whole text got exactly to the forum style.
But whatever I am typing after that text gets the deleted formatting.
I tried to "remove formatting" of everything in the field - nothing helps.
The way out is to write with a strange format, then post, then edit and then it works - you can remove formatting.

If you flick to the BBCode editor, does it show random tags at the end?

Switch to the plain editor whenever you're having problems.

The WYSIWYG editor sometimes gets "confused".

I'm not a big fan of WYSIWYG for this exact reason. The garbage code it creates sometimes...

It's more or less a browser quirk. You may not have actually been highlighting everything, just the visible stuff. (Ctrl+A will get everything.)
