Can you remove the Xenforo logo at the top

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else...

I note the homepage says you can customise the style quite easily...but can you remove the XenForo logo easily in order to insert your own brand/logo?

It's done in the ACP in the Style Properties system, per style.
To make things a bit more easy, you can just upload a new logo to the file path which your XenForo default logo is, overwriting it.

Then, you should clear your cache and refresh your forum's page to view the new logo.

I wouldnt consider this easier because then you have to remember to delete that file from the upgrade folder each and every time you perform a release upgrade.. Ive already did this twice before i just went ahead and changed the name in the acp and uploaded my own logo.

That's precisely why I have a custom style and directory :)

At the very least the logo path should be changed from the default to stop it being overwritten each time the software is upgraded.

Oh! I normally download the upgrade folder, delete the default logo and upload the files.

That's how I did it when I upgraded my vB 4 forum, lol. But, that's just my opinion as "easy" maybe because I'm a custom doing it this method ,

Also, another reason why I do it this way, is if someone asks for support for the logo, I'll know the file path for the default logo, by a quick right-click on my forum...

But, then again, that's my opinion as "easier" , lol.

I want to remove xenforo and simply display the name of my forum there (Text Display), is it possible? Or i have to do that through some image only?

Templates >> Logo Block-

Find: <img src="@headerLogoPath" alt="{$xenOptions.boardTitle}" />

Replace with: {$xenOptions.boardTitle}

Problem solved.

I wouldn't do that, either....

There's an easy way to do that:

Upload the new file to your server. A brand new one, not one that you overwrite over the old logo.

Now, go to ACP, find Appearance...

Click Styles, then click Style Properties, and then find "Header and Navigation" and then the logo field is in plain sight....

Fetch [ahem; copy the url] and paste it into the field. Click save, and voila.
