XF 2.0 Can I run Wordpress and Xenforo 2 at a folder?

Hello,

Can I run Wordpress and Xenforo 2 at a folder?

I want to change index.php of Xenforo 2 to a new name like this homepage.php while I will use index.php of Wordpress to run my website domain name.

for example:

example.com --> run wordpress
example.com/homepage.php --> run homepage of Xenforo 2

Is that possible?

I did not get any answers or solutions there.

Honestly I want to run Wordpress as index while Xenforo still can run at "root* domain.

As I checked then Wordpress and Xenforo 2 used index.php as main file to start things...thus if I change index.php then Xenforo didn't work.

Even if using a custom mod or some changes on files then it is still not possible to do that?

Unlikely, but it may be possible to change the wp index.php (I have done that but I cannot remember exactly how and whether there were any issues)

I asked some Top Xen coders and they told, that is not possible.
It is amazing if you can do that.

The reason I ended up not doing it was that although it seemed to work, I'm sure it would break with every wp update. IIRC It involved some finagling in .htaccess

Besides, you are most likely want wp as home page as opposed to xf.

It depends on using purpose. On a site I can want Xenforo as homepage but on another site I can want Wordpress as homepage and Just keeping forums and threads (URLs) of Xenforo.
