This would need to be an addon - but I think incredibly simple.
You'd probably just need to extend the Registration controller so that a query is run after the datawriter has written the new user.
I might work on this in a short while if it's as simple as I'm thinking it should be...

I guess no one has a clue what I'm talking about. I figured it would be quite obvious. I guess I'll just leave this link here and maybe someone might get the clue. Kind of not funny anymore now that I have to explain it.

Tom is/was the default friend on My Space... that's what this add-on does...
