XF 2.1 Can Fn files be removed?

I've just upgraded from 2.1.2 to 2.1.6 and noticed the following new files:

xenforo/src/XF/Template/Compiler/Syntax/Func.php
xenforo/src/XF/Template/Compiler/Func/*.php

These are actually duplicates of:

xenforo/src/XF/Template/Compiler/Syntax/Fn.php
xenforo/src/XF/Template/Compiler/Fn/*.php

I suppose this was done to support PHP 7.4? If is safe to remove the Fn files / directories? And are there more files like this?

That's correct, we renamed those due to PHP 7.4 compatibility.

You can remove those if you want to, though not removing them won't have any adverse effect.

I can't recall any others specifically, certainly not at the same time as we renamed those.
