After the animosity displayed by IB, I'd be surprised if non-disclosure agreements aren't in place with the settlement.

Assuming we'd get unfettered access to the settlement that is. I have no doubts in my mind IB will attempt to suppress as much knowledge as they can.

I would have said that "which the parties authorized the Court to maintain in its file" means we aint ever gonna see it....

Oh, and if development is going to be restarted as a result of the settlement - I'll be immediately renewing all eight of my licenses to help fuel the kickstart.

No, it was spreading FUD. This is a purely destructive practice.

As is speculation such as bad outcomes being more likely now - it is nothing more than FUD and adds zero value to the discussion.

So why don't you just come out and say what you mean to say.

You know as much as HWS knows, and he know's as much as you know. Yet some how you think your positive speculation to be correct, because it's positive. While you think his is just FUD because it's negative. Neither of your twos speculation serves any real purpose.

Meanwhile, in reality we're all in the same place where we were 6 months ago, and even a year ago. No real official news about the future of XF. No one except Kier, Mike, Ashley, and a bunch of attorneys know what is going on. As always we'll be the last to actually know.

Uncertainty is about the only constant around here.

I think we all deserve an update on when the next version of the software will be released so we can plan accordingly. There are many Xenforo sites stuck in limbo because they can't make decisions until there is a final, definitive outcome.

I had never heard of the brand until earlier today! I have some family members who would love their maraschino cherry product. Heck, I don't drink, but if it turns out to be good news for KAM (and therefor, by extension, the XF community), I just might have to try a glass to celebrate.
