In some circles it still means F'ed Up Data; 'Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt' is the cleaned up version of it. If you use it with older developers they'll likely interpret it as the former instead of the latter.

After the animosity displayed by IB, I'd be surprised if non-disclosure agreements aren't in place with the settlement.

Oh, and if development is going to be restarted as a result of the settlement - I'll be immediately renewing all eight of my licenses to help fuel the kickstart.
Would you still feel that same way if turning out IB now owns XF and your lining their pockets with cash.

Meanwhile, in reality we're all in the same place where we were 6 months ago, and even a year ago. No real official news about the future of XF. No one except Kier, Mike, Ashley, and a bunch of attorneys know what is going on. As always we'll be the last to actually know.

I think we all deserve an update on when the next version of the software will be released so we can plan accordingly. There are many Xenforo sites stuck in limbo because they can't make decisions until there is a final, definitive outcome.
