Actually, that camera was stolen from me in November 2008, and is currently residing with the Crown Prosecution Service pending sentencing of the grubby little oik in whose possession it was found last year.

Now that's just bad :/

PJ = Preliminary injunction.

'Very large camera' was a term Michael Grace and I came up with, as we didn't want to bore the Court with 'A Canon EOS-1D Mark III fitted with an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM', which is what I had with me on that day. A very inconspicuous little ensemble ;)
Yeah, as inconspicuous as a feather boa at a minsters funeral. :D

Whoops - I was multitasking and had another doc open using "PI" as private investigator, lol. Too many acronyms. :) Thanks for the clarification. "PJ" is a popular abbreviation for "personal jurisdiction" in law school. :D

Anyways, bottom line is that a Preliminary Injunction is normally brought when you want fireworks to happen. You expect to find the smoking gun in there. If it's not in there, it's usually time to prepare for serious return fire from your opponent.

I'll come to that next year :)

time to get the fire extinguishers out...

Although I've been following this whole topic, I don't usually comment in it too much. Just wanted to post a good luck to the XenForo team. They deserve it.

Defendants admit that Darby made truthful statements about Internet
Brands’ poor management of vBulletin software development and vBulletin’s
negative reception in the marketplace. Darby was, however, extremely satisfied
with his compensation at Jelsoft and denies complaining about his level of
compensation.

Also, this made me laugh. :D

Well, it's either crap, or money grabbing addons. :P

I can't believe VB4 was released over a year ago and still (apparently) has 1000+ bugs in it.

IB are basically blaming (and sueing) Xenforo and it's staff for their epic failure of a forum software.

Or.... it could be as simple as try to get a judgement before anyone has a chance to explain to the people overseeing the case that xenforo is it's own carefully crafted software and not some bug that VBs can just wish to be rid of. If IB had put half as much effort and funding into fixing their product as they have put in to this case...they would have no motivation to sue in the first place. It seems like they (IB) are playing the part of a spoiled child who is grasping for straws because they have no real claim in my opinion.

Seriously though thanks IB, it is funny when someone's head ( a group of peoples heads ) gets so big they really believe the world revolves around them which is even funnier seeing that they apparently don't understand the gravity of this situation and how it applies to the average person who just happens to be the client base for forum software.

Just because IB has weight to throw around in the form of paper does not mean anything they produce holds water. Now go fix your leaks and get out of my backyard please IB ..spankx ..don't write. You ruined a good feeling I had for years by this disgusting choice you made all with no knowledge of how forums work seeing that you bought someone else creation anyway. Sorry some people don't have a price IB, regardless what you think.

Glad that's off my chest and now I'm going back to being sick...and quiet.

1897 confirmed. Only 2 shifted from confirmed today.

Oh wow, didn't see that bit, heh.
I must admit though, it is amusing how they tout the software as being the...what was it..."The most powerful forum software in the world" and "The most powerful community software", hehe.
They are clearly dilusional.

Xenforo needs a LOVE button.
