California Case Update

Having had to deal with a court case with a former employer, not dissimilar to this in respect of their claims being a steaming pile of what you would expect to find in a field full of bulls, I know how hard it can be and how much it can impact on your life.

The one thing that keeps you going is the fact that you know you are right, that right will overcome, that they are just playing stupid games in an attempt to scare you, but totally failing in doing so.

The relief when it is finally over is fanatic and that day is approaching for Kier, Mike & Ashley, so once again *raises glass* good luck guys.
 
I don't know if this is a fair speculation or not but I wonder. If this does get to go in front of a jury is it possible that the IB guys will not want to take the stand as happened leading up to the trial?

I had full confidence in the longevity of Xenforo from the moment the lawsuit was announced, in fact the fact the IB made such a stink assured me that Xenforo had the cream of the crop behind the wheel and I bought it immediately. I have since used it on a new site but as soon as all the pieces come togather I am anxious to port my vb.4 install over and leave IB like a bad dream.

I have 4 licences here but as soon as XenForo wins I shall buy another (even though I don't require it along with at least 2 other licences, just showing my support for a fantastic team with a great vision)

October 17th is the date of the hearing for Plaintiff's motion for leave to amend the complaint (to add new claims and new defendants)

November 7th is the date of the hearing for Defendants' motion for summary judgement.

November 29th is the date of the trial as currently scheduled.

Sheesh, I wish I had cash to spare to support XenForo, but my vB site just isn't pulling in the revenue the last few months. Alas my single license will have to do, although I could really use a second license...

My sole site is completely advert free. I do it for the passion. Have done since 1998.
