It's like rats jumping off a burning ship.
I wouldn't call it all that lol...I mean if I worked for them...I would gauge the situation and make a decision based on that...from the opinion and standpoint I have of aforementioned company...I would cut and run my damn-self. I would not want to be associated with their actions in any way nor do I want my sites associated with a company that treats people like property that can be bought.

...Plaintiff, by virtue of being the largest bulletin vboard software provider in the United States, had a prospective economic relationship with every person who purchases or uses bulletin board software and an economic benefit derived therefrom.

this says it all to me... translated to how I understand it...

We bought the largest board and because of that, all the sheep who use forum software owe us a cut and are taxable income.
it is like they bought up all the drive-ins and are mad that people are going to the cinemas. You buy the drive-in's...not the people who drive in them.

From vBs document:

LOLWUT?

Umm no. I, an existing vBulletin customer, hereby declare that the reason I ended up shifting away from vBulletin is BECAUSE VBULLETIN 4 IS ****E AND SHOWS ABSOLUTELY NO IMPROVEMENT WHATSOEVER EVEN NOW, ALMOST TWO YEARS AFTER IT WAS RELEASED.

I regretted installing vB4 on a live forum so much that I did not bother installing it on a second site, and instead kept that on vB 3.8. I would rather have cut my own testicles off with a blunt spoon than have spent more money on vB. I would rather go to war serving in a French army unit code-named "RUN AWAY" than buy another vB license.

I'd love to sign an affidavit stating that I moved away from vBulletin and Internet Brands only because their coding practices were horrid, they lacked zero innovation, and their product was completely dismal!

Do they really think that if they buy an online company, they own the internet? Is that the train of thought they're going with here? o_O
Apparently they own HTML, PHP, MySQL, SEO, Javascript and every other type of language used to construct software on the web... just ask VB, they have copyright on it all. :D

IB can't even get decent lawyers! Seriously... can they do anything right?

I would like to sign as well. I would also like to sign that I was deceived by their marketing.

I would be more than happy to sign it.
