Browser issue  Bug ? The uploaded file is empty ?

I'm the IT department. So not really.
I can upload off a networked drive with IE and Firefox.

I am pretty sure I've been uploading off Networked drives with Chrome before.
I store most of my images on the u:\ drive .... so I'm always uploading from it.

I can also upload to tinypic via Chrome off the networked drive.

I'll see if I can find out more about the Flash uploader xenforo uses.

Shadab says Xenforo uses SWFUpload.
I'll look into it.

Just had this as well in Chrome trying to upload a JPG here on xf.com... Works in FF fine, will not upload here, and I've never had that issue before.

Weird.

I can't do it in gmail either.

I can attach the same file from My Documents, but not from the Networked drive.

Anthony: can you attach files from the network in Gmail ?

chrome.flash.uploader.sandbox.issue.and.fix.webp

For my desktop icon, I have added the --disable-flash-sandbox startup switch.
Is there a more thorough way to do this ?
So that regardless how chrome is launched, it will use that switch ?
