Bug reports and Resolved Bug Reports

I can't help but notice that with each new release there is a large number of bug reports and not many resolved bug reports. Bug reports, currently 158, seem to increase daily. I'm wondering if staff are having issues with keeping up to the work load while working on new releases.

Nope. Not at all. We prioritise the highest severity ones and the ones that have the highest impact. The majority of bugs, especially the ones that go unresolved, impact very few customers, are difficult to reproduce or have a very low impact.

Sometimes bug fixes are slower as we are focusing on new features but bug fix releases are on a 4-8 week schedule and each release contains between 50 and 100 fixes.

I’d expect the next release to be in September as is typical.
