Brogan, what the hell are you still doing up ??

I was like that when I was 19, but anymore at nearly 52 my eyes glaze over around 10 PM every night.

So I guess that is official 'old age' setting in.

PS: It is about 8:48 pm here now, US central time zone (Alabama).

I've always been a bit of an insomniac. Did 4 A-levels on only 3 hrs sleep a night and my undergrad/masters degree on not much more. Now I'm sick I'm sleeping more than usual but still not much!

*chokes* are you trying to kill me? I know I said friday and it's now sunday morning. Give me a couple of days and I'll submit them I've been focusing my efforts on other things. Pssst!! between you and me I haven't I've just been taking a break but don't tell anyone, I've been avoiding the editor icon thread like the plague. Remember our secret. Not a word.

back on topic: Hi.

LOL

Since I was 16 I've averaged 2-3 hours a sleep a night. It was only the last couple of weeks that I've got myself into a routine going to bed early and getting 8 hours sleep and feel all the more worse for it. Tonight that routine is broken and I expect that I'll be up doing late nights for a while until i get back into a normal sleeping pattern. When I say normal, normal for others.

As strange as it seems the more sleep I get the worse I feel.

not strange at all (to me anyway)... I completely relate to that!

Unless Peggy wants to live to be 91, then she has 4 decades of bliss ahead of her.

I don't think I can hate all my ex-girl friends that long !!

I used to be one who needed a good 8 hours of sleep, then a pot or two of coffee, just to function.
The sleep part went out the door when my son was born. I haven't slept more than 4 - 5 hours per night, many times even less, ever since. You will often find me still up at 2 and 3 am, then up again at 7 am to get my son ready for school.

Still need the coffee tho!

They might love hating you that long tho! *ducks*

Well, at least one of them does not call and hang up as much as she did for 18 years, I think she was hoping not to hear me keep answering all those years (hoping I was dead), for a while both of them were calling and hanging up on me !!

If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.

I'm approaching 50 and 8 hours never is enough. If I could sleep 20 hours a day then my world would be perfect :)

4 more hours and you would be dead John !!

You will have plenty of time for that scenario, you better start jumping out of bed in the morning and praise God man !

It's 3:26am now in the U.K. - and I'm waiting in the taxi queue at the casino to head home for some much needed shut-eye.

And yes, for a change I won this time. :D
