XF 1.5 Best Practice for Child Style

#1
I have made a bunch of style changes, and have my forum looking pretty much the way I want. Now I have learned that it is better to first create a child style before making customizations. Is there a way i can move my customizations to a child style without losing them?

Thanks in advance.

Presuming you have customised the default style, I didn't know it was best practise to make a child, I suppose so if the default style has bugs that get fixed in an upgrade.

You could always just create a new style (which will be default, then just make it the parent of yours.

I think that would work.

You only need a child style if you are using a third party style.

Otherwise editing the default style is fine, as it is a child of the master.
