Yes, there is one related permission as in the option explain text

If configured, user threads will be shared automatically to the specified social network account(s). Independent of user choice to share to his/her own account. Each forum's configuration will override system's (to configure, go to Applications > Display Node Tree > Edit Forum > tab Forum Options). Related permission: "Thread gets auto-shared".

I got this error:

The quoted error message has nothing to do with this add-on. Please try again.

If this is the only error that you got, please contact the author of XMWidgets.

Sorry, I pasted the wrong message. The correct one should be:

Your server doesn't have PHP mcrypt extension installed. This is mentioned in the resource description and the README file in the package:

[REQUIREMENTS]
This extension is very simple, just ask your server admin or hosting provider to enable it for you.

Sorry mate. I often fail to read addon descriptions properly. I will enable it (google if needed).

Edit: it works.

Just purchased this since XenSocialize seems to be unsupported and I need to publish some forums to our FaceBook and Twitter sites.

Twitter... I see it requires the Social plugin.
however, Social requires TMS which is incompatible with XenForo 1.2

Is there a work around?

Asking Social Plugin owner upgrade his addon. xFrocks can not touch his addon.

An option for every user to disable the share buttons would be a nice addition. The possibility to share stuff is great, but I think not everyone on my page who is connected with Facebook or Twitter would like to see these buttons.

You can disable the option to show buttons to not-connected users?
Oh, you meant you want to allow users to hide the buttons even when connected?
