Very interesting!
There was a big problem with existing sharing add-on: members have to mentally decide to turn on sharing for everything (status, thread or reply) which is very hard for some people. Even if member turns it on, it may get spammy in the social site's news feed if he/she posts a lot. That's why this add-on got developed :)

I'm sure i'm not the only person looking to replicate Xensocialize's functionality: auto posting new threads (with user opt-out) to my site's twitter account & facebook page.

Any chance?
To site account? Are you sure it's a good idea? User can publish rubbish etc. Too risky I think.

Been doing it for years on vB without incident... had been with Xensocialize too until it broke.

doing it now with RSS feed + ifttt.com but would prefer to do it natively.

I am with @xfrocks on this one, very risky! Might work though on a single topic forum but if you also cover topics that don't appeal to your entire userbase you are putting people off pretty quickly on social media.

Thinking of puchasing this add-on btw, looks very promising. Big like!

You will have a customer @xfrocks soon, if you will add option to upload to FaceBook (Google Plus if possible) pages. I want to automatically upload only threads from a certain forum to FaceBook and Google Plus. News Forum where only me and staff members can create threads, so there is no risk at all in this.

Can not wait for this feature to be included as XenSocialize is no longer working and by doing this you will get all the customers who are using that add-on :)

Add these three suggestions and I will buy this! 1)post to members timeline when they reach a new high score in xF Arcade. 2)Won a bet in Sportsbook. 3)Purchased Stock in Stock Trader.

I like the idea but would have to be permission based so you could hand that power out to a handful of people like your staff.

It would be awesome if that feature can be added on this one automatic thread post on your facebook page as well . Xensocialize used to posted Thread name on facebook page with few thread detail and follow link for more with useravatar . Now it's plain link only .

XenSocialize was a great add-on when it worked and was supported. You could set user group rights so it would auto post to your sites Facebook page. Personally i only had it set to admins, so there was no risk of bad stuff being feed to Facebook.

Will you be looking into Twitter support at all also?

Can you please provide a demo or screenshots on how this works with XenGallery and XI Blog?

Also...

I don't see the link at the bottom on quick reply box to register if you are not already integrated with Facebook.

You can add me to the list of people who want to be able to have it post to my site's social network pages. Yes - some spam gets through. But they could go directly to our page and spam it that way, as well. I don't mind doing the clean up when necessary and have been for some time now.
