In detail:

• How often and when do you run this callback?
• What exact information from our server get's transferred to your server by the callback?
• Do you store any information acquired from our server at your server? If yes, which and how long?
• Can the "version check" be deactivated? It should be deactivated by default!
• How does the automatic "update process" work exactly if an update has been found?

Is there a way to decide how emails marked as spam (not bounced) are handled? Some users have accidentally marked e-mails as spam and are then blocked from the forum. Is there a way to just unsubscribe them from all e-mails instead?

If anybody alerts your smtp provider that your emails are spam, I would delete him rather than protecting him, because this harms you a lot.
The only way out would be him to declare his "accident" to your smtp provider.

To continue using the site he has to change his email address. So the block is correct.

There are developers going out of business (many we had known for years). And there are developers who do not like to post (or even publish) at XenForo.com any more because of the situation here (Bob for example). Maybe xfrocks is one of them?

He is active at his own site (xfrocks.com). He also introduced a more or less undisclosed automatic update feature to all his add-on (and did not answer any questions about it and the privacy concerns coming with it). This feature will update all his add-ons automatically (and silently in the background), so he does not need to publish bug fixes or even updates for his resources any more.

Until he clearly states what this "update" feature does and what it does not (what information is transferred and possibly stored at his server and how often his server is called), I have removed all his add-ons from our servers.

He seems not to care to answer this question.

Since the callback is not done at installation (but immediately after, you cannot stop the first call, but opt out of any future calls), it seems to be okay with the resource guidelines.

xfrocks seems to simply not update the resources here any more. Visit xfrocks.com for the most recent version and for support questions.

Also this add-on has an automatic update feature. Switch the callback on and you get the newest update served and installed at your server automatically. If you like such "features".

Except it hasn't been updated there either, still the same version number and last update date.
And his PayGates add-on was updated here less than a month ago.
Is this a very recent decision?

That is no error. Just a hint that mail sending has failed and where you can find details about why.
