I see no other way around it. You have an idea?I have many people who register with their Facebook account, and there email under Facebook is dead long time ago (they probably don't know that). Since I send an automatic PM to all registered users once they register, it sends them an email as well. The problem is that it puts these people to the bounced group right away - but the entire point of Facebook Connect is to make the registration process much easier. Is there a way around it?
Thanks.
I would say skip 1st email for any user who register through Facebook? but then it wouldn't be that fair for other boards (or maybe include this as option on/off in ACP).I see no other way around it. You have an idea?
What did you mean by "first mail"? User coming from Facebook doesn't have to verify his/her email so by default, they won't receive any email right after registration. Unless you have some kind of add-on that send welcome messages?I would say skip 1st email for any user who register through Facebook? but then it wouldn't be that fair for other boards (or maybe include this as option on/off in ACP).
Yes, the add-on sends a PM once registered. And by default, every PM is triggering an email by the system. So I guess the bypass should be aimed to the developer of the Welcome PM add-on?What did you mean by "first mail"? OK, I managed to go around it. Now every email that is sent, it's sent from xenforo@domain.com and the name of the sender is "xenforo", while in:What did you mean by "first mail"? We cannot deliver emails to your address ({email}), the reason given by your provider is "{reason}". Please update your contact details with a deliverable address to keep updated with information from {boardTitle}.
I have this as well with Hebrew charactersOne problem I've got so far is that as soon as I installed this, my forum's emails have question marks after every word in their title. Everything inside the email body (including the topic title for example) is fine, but the email title has one question mark after each word.
I'm wondering if it's because my forum is in greek and I need to do something around that?![]()
It will be send but not all as instant.Does it take a while to send out all the emails?
I have been having major email issues...so I just switched to this and Mandrill. xF says that it successfully sent out 5,702 emails...but the activity report in Mandrill only says 628?

That phrase is used in XenForo 1.2 or older. When a user is bounced, it takes the phrase from XF Core's phrases for bounced email. So instead of using
bdmails_your_email_bounced_reason_x
it uses:
attempts_to_email_x_have_failed_please_update
Thanks
Added support for encoded header value. This update should fix issue with unicode characters in email subject.
