Tried installing this and having all our users watch our news forum, resulted in being unable to create threads due to timeouts. Would it be possible to maybe stagger the alerts for forums with a large amount of users?

Edit: Or perhaps only alert currently active users?

If you are running XenForo 1.2, that is handled by XenForo itself (not this add-on): email are handled in queue but alerts are sent out immediately. No way to change that for now.

It's inconsistent here, xfrocks. Just updated to the release version of 1.3 today and now emails about new posts are inconstant. Is there a way to rebuild or something? Prior to that installation, it worked fine.

How inconsistant? Some goes through, some does not?

Check option "Always Notify About New Reply". I have just tested it again and it's working as expected.

Yes, the option was checked. It has always been checked, but it's still hit or miss here. That it works under one installation doesn't mean it works in another. Would just reinstalling help?

I checked the forum and our mail log.

I have set my account to watch all our boards on that forum. It worked perfectly before I installed XF 1.3.

I'm also having issues with 1.3 and the plugin. It just doesn't seem to work after the upgrade whereas on 1.2 it worked wonderfully.

I'm assuming @Gene Steinberg and @jwright are both having problems with new messages watching with always notify option enabled?

Correct, the option to always notify is selected. No changes were made before or after the XF 1.3 installation. It worked before, stopped working constantly after.
