BB Code Manager

I have a question. I'm trying to use the flash BBC. When I do I get this error: The controller does not define an action called

What am I doing wrong? I activated the flash, was there some other option I was supposed to check? it's a simple SWF file.

It actually looks like an iframe with my own site inside of it displaying the error.

Not sure if this is an easy change to make, but if we could selectively choose which BB Codes are displayed on the Help page that would be great.

The reason is I have a lot of table code and I don't want it all displayed, the same goes for some specific codes for displaying weather reports in iframes, etc.

Shouldn't be hard. However, I may add a method for you to do define separate help page displays for BB Codes so they can be combined like most of XenForo's are.

Andy.N, if it'll install, yes. You can define a PHP callback, that'll return a formatting code. In this call back you'll do your talking with a mathtex engine and determine / format it.
I installed this addon just fine and hope you can help us with the PHP callback. Here is the screenshot of the latex bb code in our VB setup

Thank you very much

Looking at the screenshot, it appears that you just define a formula and the image source does all the work. Do a simple replacement with everything before {param} as the begin and everything after as the end and it should work for you.

You are the man.
I tried it before i asked the question, I posted everything in the replacement start and leave replace end as empty. I play a bit with it and remove the {param} completely

Now my replacement start is <img src="http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/mathtex.cgi?
replacement end is ">

Would be great if your mod offers a way to have the Latex icon in the quick editor as it was in VB BBmanager.
Thank you.

You can manually create a custom button for the tinymce toolbar. I will give it a try today and let you know how it goes as this is something I need too (not for latex, but the principle is the same...ease of use for the bbcode).

So in the meantime maybe we have a temp solution if luck prevails.

Its possible. I just haven't discovered a way to do it automatically.

Im wondering, would you have to add an event to the editor in editor_template.js in /js/tinymce/themes/xenforo/ ? I am going to try anyways but that doesn't help if i'm doing it wrong in the right place...right? lol
Input anyone?
