BB Code Manager: BB Code XML Repository

well I just woke up and apparently what I did last night is not working ...you may as well delete it and wait for brogan's response ...I cannot use [web] as that is already accounted for and what I did has made some undesirable effects to the posts using it....like I said remove mine and wait for brogan. Sorry.

First of all ..sorry Brogan..I didn't realize you used iframe as the BB code title or I would have named mine differently. I tried yours to see what I could do with it to make it work for Manu Ruiz Esteve. This is what I came up with.

is that this add a bbcode button in the message editor I get [web] and do not know how to change it to [web =] [/ web]

Here the manual to put button in the message editor
http://www.xenfacil.com/threads/añadir-botones-al-editor-con-imágenes.263/

I hope this helps you Manu

Hopefully I can redeem my failure from yesterday.

Is there a generic way to embed video iframe code from various site or do we have to get a bbcode for each site. As long as I will be embed something that start with an <iframe>, I'd like to use one bbcode.

For example, TheOnion has a video here
http://www.theonion.com/video/in-the-know-should-the-nations-unemployed-be-buyin,20083/
Answer my own question here.

I added a new Media Site BBcode with the following

Match URL: http://www.theonion.com/video_embed/?id={$id}
Embed HTML: <iframe frameborder="no" width="640" height="360" scrolling="no" src="http://www.theonion.com/video_embed/?id={$id}"></iframe>

I am looking for a BB Code which can align images to the top.

By default images align along the bottom. It doesn't look very good when you have images of different sizes. I've tried many different lines and nothing works. Currently I am using: <div style="margin-top:0px; margin-left: 8px">

XFalign-top.webp

I'm not sure what you mean.

Do you want the images to align with the top of the thread?
Or do you want the post text to align with the top of the image?

Have you got a link to an example thread?

Would anyone have a BBCode that allows embedding of a MMS stream somehow? I run a Windows Media server, and it would be awesome to be able to provide a stream from directly within the forum (I intend to slap it on a page).

If you will give me a link to a mms stream I believe I can make one really quick...just got back from the casino so I wont be up much longer at worst I will check back tomorrow and give it a try

I would love to see BB Code for the ability to use Google docs. At the moment I have an Excel spreadsheet I would love to show in a thread. I can move the spreadsheet to Google easily enough.

I did some searching and apparently there is a vB add-on (oops, I think I said a bad word) which does what I am looking for. I know we have many former vB users who might be familiar with this add-on or be able to make it work with our add-on.

I did locate some additional information which appears how to add the BB Code for a Google Spreadsheet to their version of the BB Code manager. I have no knowledge of PHP so I don't know how to get it to work here. If anyone can get it to work or advise me I would appreciate it.

I don't think it's exactly the same thing (in terms of the BBCode), but doesn't this one allow you to embed Google Docs?

wow ty Trombones that's great. I can't believe I missed it.

EDIT: I saw "Regex" and the doc said "Script Bashing" so I skipped it without noticing that is was really for gdocs. Thx again!
