Banned Email Adresses

Can i use the banned email addresses system to allow only *@company.com domains? (e.g. via regex negation or can we really use only the * wildcard?)

I thought i could use the banned mails system for this and just negate it (if possible)

There's no built in way to allow only whitelisted emails.
