Here's a bespoke articles system

Just launched this yesterday - http://irdriver.com - for the motoring enthusiasts in the Republic of Ireland.

Bespoke article management system which uses xenforo auth, and linked to threads so people can comment on articles.

now if you could get the URL to display "articles" (or anything an admin might want) instead of threads, that would be tight

Is there a way to change the URL so it reads "articles" in a forum node instead of "forum"? I plan on using a private forum node and just put articles in there and that's my "CMS". Not fancy but it works. I just don't want the url to be stupid like http://www.yourwonderfulsitegoeshere.com/forum/articles and want it to be like http://www.yourwonderfulsitegoeshere.com/articles

Are you referring to XenPorta? This thread is so old I don't even really remember what I was referring to in your quote. I don't use XenPorta, so couldn't say. You could ask Jaxel in the XenPorta discussion thread.

For my a CMS is like EZ Publish, would love to see something like that for Xenforo.
