Are avatars printing?

I just printed out a thread and noticed that none of the avatars are included. There's just an empty box (where the avatar is supposed to be) next to each post, above the username.

I'm not sure if this is an issue that others are having too...

I think that is the problem of the print setting (or page setting) of your web browser.

Avatars, are added as background images, not inline images. So as standard most browsers wont print them.

However you can set your browser settings to print backgrounds they will..

To be honest though when most people print a page it is the text not the avatar that matters, so I would probably end up just creating a print stylesheet that hides all of the user text boxes etc... just shows the username, and the text, in a much nicer print friendly way.

Considering the price of ink, I think it's alright to not print the avatars.
Forsaken, Darkimmortal and Ceri May like this.
