But to answer your question, yes, I believe it is as I have seen others using it.

If you're looking for a portal then as well as XenPorta you should also consider Extra Portal from @ExtraLicense in conjunction with Widget Framework.

Extra Portal is the next stage of Simple Portal and is continuing to be developed and has active support from the author. XenPorta is very popular but as you'll see from the resource thread there is little support from the author (which to be fair he stated would be the case).
