Lacking a store for XF2.0 and not wanting to create a separate store website, I just signed up for Ecwid. https://www.ecwid.com/
Ecwid allows you to place a store on your existing website using their widget system. Other than Shopify, I know of no other service that has this feature, and Ecwid is a lot cheaper. They have a free plan for up to 10 products and then you can get into paid plans with what I think have reasonable prices.
Is anyone using Ecwid widgets on the XF? I would to hear how it is working out for you and see it on your forum.
I have just started at http://www.hobbygreenhousegrowers.com/pages/store/
Right now, I have not listed this page anywhere on my forum. I am waiting to hear back from Ecwid support with answers to a few questions I have before I purchase a plan. I am using the free plan right now. I plan to sell a certain brand of greenhouses, greenhouse accessories and tools via drop ship accounts I have at discounted pricing.
