Any forums using https?

Any forums (besides here at Xenforo) using https?
How long have you been using it?
Any issues using it?

Google said earlier this year that they will favor those sites using https. For those that are using it, have you see any increase in traffic since implementing it?

Many, many sites have switched. I have switched 3 years ago, and all of new sites I create will have SSL at the get go.

I'd caution moving to https if you rely on ads to support your site. If using something like AdSense, moving your site to https limits the pool of advertisers to those that have SSL support. A lot do support SSL now, but many still don't. Depending on the site it could considerably affect earnings.

This is the reason I switch back to http only.

I can't say I noticed any page load slowdown after the switch to HTTPS a few months back. I run ads sourced through a local agency who in turn use multiple ad servers depending on the client. I found that while a few ad publishers don't offer HTTPS options, most do. I haven't seen any problems with adsense.

In any case I'm prepared to take the hit as a cost of doing business for the sake of the additional security HTTPS offers.

I use it because it just makes the website look more professional, and for a trading forum that's needed, no other reasons. Also, I haven't noticed any disadvantages except the image proxy, it automatically leaks the IP of the server rather than the user with things such as:

Anyone got a fix for this, on another note.
