Almost 1 Hour left till E3 starts

Yeah, a preference. Hah. I have always found the XBox one to not fit me. It may have to do with the fact I have had a Playstation 1 since release, and that controller has pretty much aged with me.

I'm sure sometime after the release, you'll be able to easily purchase a 3rd party model. They have game controllers that overal look and feel like xBox controllers for PlayStation, as well as the other way around (controllers that look and feel like PlayStation controllers for xBox).

So that's really not something that can't be overcome.

Certainly wont be buying at launch so have time to decide I guess!
 
I have no idea how they felt that their previous course of action was going to go over well and bring them $$. I wonder what other tricks they have up their sleeves.

I agree. It was silly of them to think everyone is just going to jump at a new console.

All we need now, really, is for Kinect to come as an optional unit to reduce the price (and the bloat for non kinect).

Yeah, I can't see the reasoning behind requiring Kinect to be bought with it. Regardless, I've never been an Xbox fan and have never owned one. PlayStation all the way, here! :D
 
See I was on the fence with the Xbox and PS4 war. I played PS3 when it first came out and the servers were crappy in terms of connection.

I was disappointed with the Xbox One because I love the exclusive games it's shipping with, but I was hesitant to preorder. However, having heard the news about the U-turn, I've just preordered with Amazon.

Good job I've got 'til November to cancel if I change my mind.

Theres a few games on the XBOX that I like... But overall Playstation has the better exclusives imo.
 
I still own a 360, so i can also play some games coming on it.
At E3 i was the whole Time with Sony. After all that argy-bargy i stay with Sony. I still dont like the Cotroller but they did not turned around.
Never trust someone that acts like that. Its just the Money.

At all there are still some Month left to get more and more Infos.

That's the difference between us. I don't game. I just play me and the system or me and a friend. So I don't have to worry about crappy servers.

I wouldn't even know what the exclusives are. As I mentioned above, I don't game. I just notice a game here or there that I think I'd like and buy them.

@James @Forsaken - For the most part, my PS3 has served me well as my entertainment system - Netflix, Hulu, Bluray, etc.

The XBOX One introduces a few new things... But overall it is just catching up to the PS3 in terms of entertainment value.
 
@jmurrayhead yeah a lot of people I know buy consoles as entertainment systems. Netflix and Sky on my 360 atm serve me really well. I do game too though, so my multiplayer servers I want to be up to scratch!
 
Still too late. Any company trying this and testing how the public reacts will only try again maybe try to slowly introduce it in increments at some point. If I'm to purchase the next generation console it'll either be a ps4, Wii U or both. Not interested in the new upcoming xboxone.
 
$100 is a lot more money to pay if you don't plan to buy Kinectimals or whatever that crap is.

Good to see Microsoft willing to make the change, but it may be too late
