$100 is a lot more money to pay if you don't plan to buy Kinectimals or whatever that crap is.

Good to see Microsoft willing to make the change, but it may be too late

Microsoft has backtracked in the past, and then forced a similar policy to what they changed. Not quite sure I'll trust their changes to things, and it doesn't sound like they're changing much and what they are isn't really enough to make me want to buy the system.

I'll probably end up with it, but I won't buy it myself and it'll probably join my 360 collecting dust.

This wasn't option, it was a necessity. They will gain a significant amount of their followers back after this but I doubt it will be anything close to the number if they hadn't done it in the first place.

It made even the most hardcore xbox fans take a look at PS4 and I'd imagine a few would have been impressed. There's still plenty to entice xbox fans to PS4 despite the changes but this will definitely win back a lot of customers for Microsoft.
